Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 is set to premiere on September 30, 2026, with an early streaming debut on ABEMA, followed by a television debut on Tokyo MX and ABC on October 7. The news was revealed in a trailer that showcases the theme songs performed by FZMZ and Hanabie. The anime is based on the light novel series of the same name by Yuu Tanaka and LLO, with a manga spinoff titled Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita My Dish by Ituki Fujioka. HIDIVE will stream the anime as it airs in Japan and will screen the North American premiere at Anime NYC. The first season of Reincarnated as a Sword premiered in October 2022, with an English dub available on HIDIVE. The series stars Ai Kakuma as Fran, Shinichiro Miki as Master, and Yuma Uchida as Jean du Vix. Shinji Ishihira returns to direct the anime, with Takahiro Nagano writing and supervising the scripts, and Atsuko Saito designing the characters. Additional staff members include Kazunobu Shimizu as assistant director, Shinya Asanuma as master design, and Chie Sakurai as monster design. The anime will also feature an original manga adaptation by Tomowo Maruyama, published by Gentosha, and a manga spinoff titled Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita: Another Wish by Hinako Inoue. Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing both the original light novels and Maruyama's manga adaptation in English, along with audiobooks narrated by Josh Hurley.
